The phrase “pathetic fallacy” is a literary term for the attribution of human emotion and conduct to things found in nature that are not human. It is a kind of personification that occurs in poetic descriptions. The weather and season can be described with human emotions to reflect the mood of a character or create a tone. With that, Dazed presents his 2022 release, “The Storm”.

Following from his debut 2012 EP “Hearing Not Listening” and Dazed & Flawlezz 2020 LP “Airplane Mode”, “The Storm” is a continuation of the human journey. Dazed’s journey is filled with loss, his hearing, personal growth and finally acceptance. Set amongst a back-drop of production from Dazed, Insideus, Dyl Thomas, MixedByJD and Shape Shifter; Dazed calmly balances between self reflection and braggadocio in only a way he could. The only guests on the EP come from long time collaborator and friend Flawlezz, and The Walrus Himself who tragically passed away in November 2020.
